## Press and mentions

- AI Token Hunger Games Are Coming for Software Engineers at Work. Business Insider, 17 June 2026. Mentions Brock Simon. "Brock Simon advised companies on AI for Bain & Company before he founded his own startup, Native." <https://www.businessinsider.com/ai-token-economy-spending-workplace-budgets-usage-caps-software-engineer-2026-6>

## In his own words

- AI-mediated shopping and product data: The bigger shift in AI shopping is discovery moving upstream, before the shopper reaches a retailer. Systems that ground the difference between a marketing claim and a verified one do not yet exist, and both AI models and shoppers are still in a norming stage. "To me, the bigger shift is watching that discovery move upstream" (talk, 22 January 2026, <https://www.provenance.org/news-insights/the-future-of-ai-shopping-how-verified-product-data-boosts-ai-discoverability>)
- Enterprise AI adoption: AI is less experimental than many executives assume. The advance that matters is putting agents on top of existing models, workflows and best practices, with humans in the loop: augmented decision-making is what is winning in the enterprise. (podcast, <https://servicepath.co/podcast/revenue-growth-for-tech-execs-edition-13/>)
- AI and product decision-making: AI has compressed the time from product design to deployment and from insight to execution, which makes data understanding and data engineering the next bottlenecks for enterprises. "AI has compressed the time from product design to deployment" (post, <https://www.linkedin.com/posts/brock-simon_how-ai-is-changing-product-decision-making-activity-7457522836241321984-T3X->)
